TERRITORY SCRAMBLE Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how tom_create ("we" or "us") handles information in the game "TERRITORY SCRAMBLE" (the "Game").

We do not operate our own servers, and the Game does not send your information to our own systems. All online features and records of the Game work through Steam (for content sent through our contact form, see section 6).

1. Information Recorded on Steam

The Game records the following information using Steam's stats and achievements features. It is stored on Steam and linked to your Steam account (SteamID).

We mainly view overall aggregated values in Steamworks, but the system also allows us to view values for each SteamID.

We use this information to understand how the Game is played, to improve it and adjust its balance, and to provide achievements.

2. Information Published When You Create a Room (Lobby)

When you create an online room, the following information is published in Steam's room list so that other players can find it. It is removed from the list when the room closes.

3. Information Exchanged During Matches

Your nickname, chat messages, and game input are sent to the other players in the same room through Steam's relay servers. Because all traffic goes through the relay servers, other players cannot see your IP address.

We use a Steam feature to check chat messages for inappropriate words.

If unusual behavior is detected during a match, the result may be shown to the players in the room.

We do not store any of this content.

Due to how Steam works, players in the same room can see each other's SteamIDs. If the host removes (kicks) a player from the room, that player's SteamID is kept in memory on the host's PC only while the room exists, to prevent the player from rejoining. It is discarded when the room closes and is never saved to a file.

4. Information Stored on Your PC

Your nickname, settings, language, and similar data are stored on your PC. A log file (Player.log) is also saved on your PC for troubleshooting. None of this is sent to us automatically.

If you send us your log file at our request, we use it only to investigate problems and delete it three months after receipt.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not disclose your information to third parties except as required by law. Information on Steam is handled under Valve Corporation's privacy policy.

6. Contact Form

We accept feedback and bug reports through our contact form (https://forms.gle/guhh2szr1DyuRirg9).

Because we do not store information for each SteamID ourselves, we hold no information with which to fulfill requests for access or deletion. For information stored on Steam, please contact Steam Support.

7. Changes

We may revise this Privacy Policy when necessary. Revisions take effect when they are posted on this page.
